Alister sul'Alger was the the secret twin-son of Alger Waterlow and Hanalea. He is a direct ancestor of Hanson Alister. His ancestry was hidden from himself and those around him. The few who knew about him were told he died shortly after birth and was buried in an unmarked grave. Appearance[]He has curly hair and more closely resembles his mother than his sister does. Abilities[]He inherited the Waterlow charm. He might have grown to be an extremely powerful wizard. There was no doubt he was gifted. Clans[]They watched over his descendants, ensuring they were not a threat to the throne. The Demonai wanted to kill him, regardless of what Hanalea wanted. They gave him to a clan matriarch it throw off of a cliff, which was seen as a great honor. Hanalea intervened. They allowed him to live, but bound his magic with the silver cuffs. They did not want to turn him loose on the world, or for him to grow up unsupervised. Etymology[]Alister means "defending men" or "defender of men".
